Empowering the Future is initiative aimed at empowering children with disabilities, the Muhsal Disabled Support Foundation has donated hand-powered tricycles to three young students. This generous gesture is set to transform their daily commute, making their journey to school easier and more accessible.

Before the donation, the foundation paid a courtesy visit to the children, who are siblings from the same mother and father. Tragically, their father passed away, leaving their mother to care for them alone. During this visit, the children shared their struggles and dreams. They described how they are keen to attend school but face significant challenges due to a lack of mobility. Often, they cannot find an Okada (bikeman) willing to take them to school, which severely hampers their educational opportunities.

"Sometimes the distance from our home to the main road is a big challenge. And even when we get there, the Okada people often refuse to take us because of our disabilities," see video

Moved by their story, the Muhsal Disabled Support Foundation decided to take action. The hand-powered tricycles provided by the foundation are not just a means of transportation; they are a symbol of hope and independence for these children. With these tricycles, the students can now navigate their way to school with greater ease and comfort, overcoming the physical challenges that once hindered their education.

During the handover, the eldest of the three children expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation with a touching statement:

Empowering the Future

I am deeply grateful to the Muhsal Disabled Support Foundation for this incredible gift. These tricycles will change our lives, making it possible for us to go to school without struggle. May God bless everyone who made this possible.”

At Muhsal Disabled Support Foundation we are dedicated in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities through such impactful initiatives. Our mission is to create a more inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of physical limitations.
